Community Guidelines

Why we have these
These Community Guidelines describe what's allowed on posting2 and what isn't. They sit alongside our Terms of Use — the legal contract — but they're more practical: what isn't allowed, and what happens when the line gets crossed.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Objectionable content is removed, and users who post it or who harass, threaten, or abuse others can have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated.
If you see content or behavior that breaks these rules, report it in the app or email us at info@posting2.app. We don't pre-screen content; we rely on user reports and our own review.
We may update these guidelines as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the most recent change.
1.Who can use posting2
- You must be 18 or older.
- No selling, buying, or transferring accounts.
- Don't impersonate other people, brands, or public figures.
- No automated accounts (bots) or coordinated networks of fake accounts.
2.How these apply
These guidelines apply to everything on posting2 — photos, captions, comments, and profiles — and they apply the same regardless of how you and another user are connected.
3.Illegal content
The following content is prohibited and will be removed and reported to law enforcement where appropriate:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Zero tolerance. Reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
- Solicitation, sale, or trade of illegal goods or services — including controlled substances, weapons, stolen property, fraudulent documents, and trafficked goods.
- Solicitation of minors for any purpose.
- Content that violates U.S. federal law or the law of the jurisdiction where you live or where the content is directed.
4.Sexual content and nudity
Explicit nudity and sexual content are not allowed. The following are prohibited:
- Visible genitalia or anus — including through sheer or see-through clothing.
- Full toplessness or otherwise fully exposed breasts.
- Depictions of sexual acts — intercourse, oral sex, or masturbation — or pornographic content (imagery whose purpose is explicit sexual gratification).
- Sexual solicitation: offering or requesting sexual contact, services, or imagery.
- Sexual content directed at someone who has not consented to receive it.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn"), or threats to share such imagery.
- Sexualized content involving minors in any form, including drawings or computer-generated imagery.
Suggestive and risqué photos are fine — swimwear, underwear, lingerie, and sheer or partially revealing clothing included. What's prohibited is explicit nudity and the act itself, not sex appeal. Photos near the line may be reviewed, and removed if they cross it.
These rules apply regardless of who the post's audience is — friends, friends of friends, or the Everyone feed.
5.Violence, threats, and self-harm
- No direct or implied threats of violence against any person or group.
- No glorification or promotion of violence, terrorism, mass-casualty events, or violent extremist organizations.
- No content that promotes, encourages, or instructs self-harm or suicide.
- No animal cruelty.
6.Graphic and shocking content
Posts depicting graphic violence, gore, and other shocking content may be removed: blood, injury, death, bodily waste, and anything in that vein. Whether a post crosses that line is our judgment call, and we remove what we consider gratuitous.
7.Hate
No slurs, dehumanizing language, or content that attacks, demeans, or excludes people based on:
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Religion or religious affiliation
- Sex, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation
- Disability or serious medical condition
- Age or veteran status
No content promoting hate groups, hate ideologies, or symbols associated with them.
8.Harassment
- No sustained or targeted harassment of an individual or group, on or off the app.
- No doxxing — sharing someone's personal information without consent (home address, phone number, email, financial information, government-issued identifiers, employer, etc.).
- No coordinating or encouraging others to harass someone.
- No unwanted sexual advances, pressure, or messages.
- No "pile-on" comment threads designed to demean a single user.
9.Privacy of others
- Don't post photos of identifiable people without their consent in contexts that could embarrass or harm them.
- Don't share private communications without consent.
- Don't post non-consensual recordings (audio or video) of others.
- Don't post location information that exposes someone's home or routine without their consent.
10.Impersonation, spam, and manipulation
- Don't pose as another person, brand, organization, or public figure in a way meant to deceive — pretending to be them to scam, defraud, or damage their reputation.
- No spam, phishing, scams, or pyramid schemes.
- No coordinated inauthentic behavior — sockpuppet accounts, fake reports, or networks designed to manipulate visibility or reports.
- No solicitation of payments, gifts, or financial information from other users.
- No selling or transferring your account to another person.
11.Photos you post
- Post photos that are yours or that you have permission to share.
- Don't pass off another creator's work as your own.
- Don't post photos of identifiable people who haven't consented to being on the app.
- Captions and comments are subject to all of the rules above just like the photo itself.
12.Meeting and interacting with people you don't know
posting2 does not introduce, screen, or vouch for other users. Whether and how you interact with someone is your decision. See our Terms of Use, §24 for more on this.
13.Off-platform conduct
If your behavior toward another posting2 user — through text messages, third-party apps, or in person — would have broken these guidelines if it had happened on posting2, it can result in action against your account here. We don't actively monitor off-platform behavior; we act on credible reports.
This is also addressed in our Terms of Use, §21.
14.Reporting
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, you can:
- Use the in-app report tools on a post, comment, or profile.
- Email us at info@posting2.app.
We read every report. We won't always reply, and we won't always take the action you wanted. For urgent threats to real-world safety, please contact local law enforcement first; we can follow up with information requests through proper legal channels.
15.Enforcement
Depending on the severity of the violation, the user's history, and the surrounding context, we may:
- Remove the post, comment, or other content.
- Issue a warning to the account.
- Restrict, suspend, or terminate the account.
- Report the content or account to law enforcement, NCMEC, or other appropriate authorities.
We make these calls case-by-case. If you think we've made a mistake, email info@posting2.app with a short description of what happened — we read appeals.
Repeated or severe violations can result in permanent account termination. After a termination, registering a new account under a different name is a separate violation of our Terms of Use.
